The Pruneyard is undergoing a major renovation to be completed in 2017. Our goal is to become the premier destination in The West Valley — offering daily needs shopping paired with destination retail, casual dining and entertainment in a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere.

Major renovation to begin in 2017

The project is being undertaken by Ellis Partners, the team that successfully renovated Town & Country Village in Palo Alto. The abundant common areas at The Pruneyard will be the canvas for great outdoor dining opportunities, adult hangout and children play areas.

A new multi-level parking structure is slated to be built in order to add hundreds of additional parking spaces.

The tenant mix will get a full upgrade as categories not now represented will be introduced and the best operators within their fields are added to the mix.

 

 

More than just a shopping complex.

 

The Pruneyard is more than just a destination shopping complex – it serves the local population with daily need shopping, exercise, entertainment and dining. With 365,229 Square Feet of Class A office space on site and over 2,000 employees, there is a captive population throughout the day. The 171 room Doubletree Hotel provides built-in evening business.

The West Valley features a dense population with great incomes and educations. The demographics are changing with lots of families and young professionals moving to the area.

We will handpick the finest establishments that will create a unique and compelling location that is unlike any other. The Pruneyard will not only be the destination of choice for Campbell but for the West Valley area.

The Pruneyard will be the place that you make multiple stops several times a week. The destination retailers will stretch the trade area to pull Los Gatos / Saratoga population as well as the Willow Glen and Cambrian Park residents.

Restaurants & Coffee Shops

Orchard city kitchen / pacific catch / paxti's pizza

In addition to these restaurants, several fast casual as well as full-service restaurants will be added to create a selection of service styles, ethnic cuisines and dining styles. Outdoor dining will be prevalent and will be usable most days of the year. The Pruneyard will be a dining destination that is casual, approachable and a favorite of the entire family.

 

Exercise & Entertainment

Camera Cinemas will undergo a major renovation reducing their seats from 1150 to 650 and will introduce improved food and cocktail service. 

A first-class fitness facility will be constructed to provide a state of the art fitness, wellness and heath destination. Group classes and spa services will appeal to both the office population and  the local population.

Common Areas

Kids play area / hangout zones / active promotion programs

The abundant common areas will be an attraction to the smallest visitors as well as adults looking for a place to meet friends, enjoy a meal or just rest for a while in between shopping stops. The shopping center will coordinate an active seasonal promotional program that attracts a broad audience for events such as music in the square to pet parades.

Living it up in Campbell.

 

At The Pruneyard we believe vibrant community activity depends on it's position and surroundings. The combination of proximity to freeways and at the major intersection of Bascom Avenue and Campbell Avenue make it an easy destination to access.  With three points of access off of both Bascom Avenue and Campbell Avenue as well as a rear point of entrance directly off of Hamilton Avenue make ingress and egress hassle free.

A highly targeted strategy

 

The merchandising strategy revolves around 2 distinct zones -- The Plaza and The Avenue.

 

The Plaza will be a combination of daily needs shopping along with destination retail, coupled with amazing common areas that will both delight and invite one to relax.

 

The Avenue will serve as a bridge to the office buildings as well as a hub of activity throughout the day and evening with restaurants, theater, fast casual food and a first class fitness facility.
